As a system admin / web host who is frequently installing or reinstalling WordPress. I would like to have an option to select an HTTPS installation, this means that WordPress would not need to be reconfigured to HTTPS after installation via the plugin. The result is that installation time will be reduced and Wordpress can be natively installed on an SSL domain making things all a bit smoother.

I think this is a good idea. As a hosting compagnie, it would simplify our support with the clients.

HTTPS should be enabled by default if there's a valid SSL certificate installed for the domain.
