Hello, In the file managers you should be able to upload files from 'remote url' clients often ask me to use wget as root to download files and it wastes our time. Loads of php scripts have it, so should cPanel :D

This is important for those users without shell access (which many hosting providers do not enable by default, or may not offer at all), or who are unfamiliar with working from a command line. Transferring large files by downloading them to one's local computer, then up to the host is cumbersome and can be quite slow, depending on one's Internet connection (in the USA, most home users have relatively slow upload speeds, even on broadband connections), as well as adding extra steps (and possible frustration points) to the process.

I really want this feature on cPanel, its always big pain to download files on local pc and then transfer to another account and it waste alot of time when you have slow upload speed. I really want this feature to be added into cPanel soon. thx Tony

This is critical and should have been done years ago. This will simplify installations, save time and space for all users. Not sure why CPanel is not giving this feature a priority. This will make CPanel is complete product.

This is much needed feature which will increase popularity of cPanel in a much bigger way.

Sometime we spend time first download from web and then upload it to cpanel but with this feature the file will directly get downloaded into server.

This si for people who doesn't know shell command.
