Update Mail Client Automatic Configuration Scripts

As a cPanel User and web hosting provider I would like to see the 'Mail Client Automatic Configuration Scripts' updated to remove obsolete email clients.

In particular, I propose removing the following:

  • Microsoft Outlook Express
  • Microsoft Outlook 2000
  • Windows Live Mail
  • MacOS Mail.app for "Pre Lion" (10.4+)

Please also remove 'MacOS Mail.app for "Lion" (10.7+)'

None of these email clients support TLS 1.2 so the 'SSL / TLS configurations' you can download will not work with a fresh install of cPanel.

These long out of date options are just adding confusion for users.

I see as of 84.0.7 most of the out of date options have been removed. Great! 👍

The only one left is Windows Live Mail, last release November 4, 2014.

Windows Live Mail does not support TLS 1.2+.

Please can cPanel remove Windows Live Mail from the options.
