translation video tutorials
Open Discussion
This is not a critical feature request, but rather doing the job till the end...
I'm actually obliged to remove this icon in feature manager, as when you have a company in France, they don't joke at all with missing translations. We would need these videos done in French, and all others
+1 for this.
We would like to be able to give our non english speaking customers access to translations too.

Could you clarify if the video tutorials specifically need translating...or if there is a HOWTO video out there for how to create new translations of the product and that video needs to have a french translation?

Really don't understand your question
Video tutorials languages should be available as the rest of cpanel, that's all... how you achieve this is by doing each videos with a french pspeaker, and a cpanel showing the related language

Hello Adam,
Howto videos have text subtitles that are always in english. We need the ability to translate those texts. This would either mean cPanel allowing users to submit translations and having the vidoes in all language or make the replace the videos with javascript slides that allow you to integrate translated subtitles.
We disable video translations by default as they are only in english.

For us, Yes, I haven't checked paper lantern for video tutorials, maybe they were removed, if that is the case then I don't personaly see the reason of this request. :)

bla bla bla....
1. at the time request was made, this was not disabled by default, so don't mistake anyone, it has been disabled very recently
2. these videos were useful for english users at least, the reaction of cpanel team is just negative/passive by disabling it, instead oif finding a solution to get this translated in one or the other way which is not our problem.

Video Tutorials have been removed from the product since 11.42 (~ March of 2014). There are third-party content producers which may be more appropriate for your needs.

ok, i was talking of x3 on which most of us are sticking because users don't like paper lantern with its big icons displaying so big like we are all myopic. Users want to see as much as possible in one page withotu having to browse vertically too much like now
You will tell that we can customize paper lantern of course, this require job/skills to proceed, and not much people to do this on the market. I know your articles URL about this already.
