I don't think as your plugin costs 180$/year/server, and this feature integrated in cPanel, just like SoftLayer DNS functionality already integrated, will cost 0$/year/server.

I'm looking at setting up a number of cPanel DNSONLY servers in geographically different data centers, but if I can leverage an API that a stable DNS provider is using, I'm open to that as well.
But I'm not going to add a $15/mo fee per server for this...that's probably out of my reach, and setting up my DNSONLY servers is most cost effective for that. If I have 20 servers, that's another $300 out of pocket for something as processor and bandwidth not-intensive as DNS (not to mention storage). Maybe I'm missing the point, though.
VPS.Net supports this now and it's free to existing customers, but I don't have an account with them currently, so that's out. Worth a check if any of you are with them right now.
How does Dyn, Inc. not support this yet? They're probably my top pick for DNS hosting, but I'd consider Rackspace as well. Interesting idea!
I agree with ATOIP.
