Support for a Zimbra client
Open Discussion
As a Webmail user, I want support for Zimbra client, so that I can use my preferred webmail client.
It's my favorite webmail program -- use it at work -- and would love to be able to offer it to my clients.

I would like to see this as well... but I doubt it will happen. zimbra is coming out with an html 5 version, maybe then people will get on board. then again, zimbra isn't very popular so I doubt anyone would take notice :(

Zimbra needs to be on its own server. it's very powerfull but has a reputation of being complicated to use.
We quite like the idea of having tye free version' but not without support. Their paid version is too expensive for most hosts to supply with shared hosting and their licencing says you cant have both paid and free, none or all paid.
It's the licencing that puts us of zimbra, we would like either a per server licence at a reasonable price or a per domain licence but not a per account licence.

Hi,
We have developped a plugin that let the user to define mailboxes on a Zimbra server from its cPanel account. If this correspond to what you are looking for, please have a look here :
http://www.zimbra-plugin-for-cpanel.com
The plugin let our customers mixing Zimbra and normal mailboxes in a same account. They can use Zimbra mailboxes only for real people and use simple (less expensive) ones for generic email addresses like info@, support@, ...
Hope this helps.
