SSD S.M.A.R.T. Status / Lifespan Remaining

It would be pretty great if in (WHM) System Health, there was a page that automatically detected drives with S.M.A.R.T. support (i.e. SSDs) and showed you their status. It would also be cool if part of this information showed you the lifetime remaining % of the drive(s). It would also be super cool if you could get an alert if the drive was nearing the end of it's lifetime.

I've added tags to make sure it's considered when we get to that part. In the meantime we do have a script that can be run on the command line that provides similar content:

I second this. An automated alert showing what disk/s are giving ugly signals of health would be very nice and welcomed.


I have already been there, and when you are not monitoring these values, you simply won't see it coming. (Fortunately I'm a backup fan)
