Specify destination shared IP address when using Express Transfer
As a cPanel web-hosting provider, we would like to be able to specify the destination IP address when using Express Transfer, so that we can use Express Transfer with Reseller accounts that have their own shared IP address.
We would like to see the option to specify the IP address of the destination account, when performing an Express Transfer.
It's not uncommon that we want to transfer a cPanel account to be under an existing Reseller account (with their own shared IP address). In that case the existing options to use the server's main IP address, or to use a new unused Dedicated IP address, are no good.
And unlike normal account Transfers, correcting the IP address after an Express Transfer means also making changes to the source server's DNS records, which is not really desirable.
This is now much more urgent given that Express Transfer has become Live Transfer & enabled by default.
If Live Transfer sets the wrong IP address, not only are the DNS records wrong, but the website proxying doesn't work either (since the proxied website requests are sent to the wrong IP address for the destination website).
Although as a stop-gap measure, a way to have Live Transfer disabled by default would help.
