Software Version info
As a system administrator,
We'd like to see the ability to pull version information for things like Apache, PHP, and MySQL.
Since the versions of these types of software are totally independent of the actual cPanel version itself, this would be very nice to help admins who track large numbers of servers to be able to tell if any were "missed" during the course of a massive upgrade to all servers.
For example, if you have 300 servers and try to update all of their PHP some day, the chances are pretty good, at least one of them will be missed across the several shifts required to accomplish a task like that.
We have some very simple scripts of our own to check this, but they can be problematic to maintain these on this many hosts, and sometimes security restrictions or connection errors, etc can prevent them from running properly.
This is now in a public build of version 64, 64.0.1, which is in the CURRENT tier. Update to version 64 now to take a look!

Unfortunately this code did not make it in to v58, but hopefully will for v60. I'll update again once there's more information!

This has been completed and merged into version 64. Once we have an EDGE release of 64, I'll make sure to let everyone know!

Whoohoo! :)
Whoohoo! :)
I just want to chime in, want to make sure there is no security issues with this with public facing material. As such I want to make sure there are proper authentication steps to prevent an easy public facing API endpoint that will reveal this information.
