SMTP Disabled Restrictions per Account
Open Discussion
As a system administrator I would like cPanel & WHM to provide more granular control over SMTP restrictions, allowing me to enable or disable on a per-account basis, in addition to setting a server-wide and new account default.

I'd like to request this feature as well. Disabling this feature server-wide for a specific customer is not effective for us.

This would be helpful for those unique situations when a particular account needs to bypass the SMTP restrictions while the rest of the server should remain on lockdown.

We're talking about this setting, aren't we?
Home > Server Configuration > Tweak Settings > Restrict outgoing SMTP to root, exim, and mailman (FKA SMTP Tweak)

Definitely this should be implemented. Shouldn't have to disable SMTP restrictions to enable ONE or N customer(s) to directly access their external email server.

This will increasingly be required as more and more clients use SaaS suppliers like Google Suite, Office 365 and other cloud solutions.
