Remove unused backup directories

"While the backups are ftp'ing correctly, even when we have 'do not store backups locally' enabled, there still is left the folder structure at /backup/"backupdate"/accounts. While these are just empty folders, there should probably be something that cleans these up and removes the folders themselves when the backup is complete, if there are no local copies kept."

I would like to expand this, to deleting old failed backups.


If a FTP backup fails, since the backup is not transferred it is stored locally (even when this option is not checked). Over time this can eat up a sizable amount of space.
