Postfix Support
Needs Review
I'd like to see Postfix support included in CPanel. It's more security focused than is Exim, can be extended far easier than Exim, and less of its features need to involve recompiling--also useful given CPanel doesn't compile Exim. It's compatible with much of what Exim already uses for filters, email forwarding and the like, but also gives more flexibility with regards error handling. Also a bonus in my book is greylisting, which Exim needs hacked into it to work decently. If CPanel can support Courier alongside Dovecot, thought should be given to giving us the option of choosing between either Exim or Postfix.
Postfix is easier at all, and it's default mail transport in Centos 6.x

I was really surprised this isn't already the default option!

Has this been done ? most cloud based provide prefer/push for postfix over Exim , which makes Cpanel install impossible..

This would be awesome, postfix is so much better, to implement and to maintain. I have it on all my mail servers. Integrating that and php-fpm is what this cPanel is missing to rule them all :)

Yes, we need postfix as it has a cool feature and very easy to implement and maintain.
We would be very happy.

Cpanel manages the email configuration so I don't see why you would need easier to use sofware.
I find exim to be more powerfull that postifx and so long as cPanel is managing all the complicated aspects why would you want to change ?
On debian systems it's exim the default, so isn't it just a matter of preference ?
