Please bring back the old cPHulk interface
Completed
Hi! The new cPanel update (11.48.0) destroyed cPHulk blacklist functionality for me. The new update makes it impossible to select all the domains at once or even search for a particular domain or even view all the domains at once. Instead of managing blacklists through the cPHulk, i'm having to go to the server itself. It's a major step back in my eyes. I don't understand the change at all. It is subtraction by addition for me. Thank you for listening!
cPanel & WHM version 11.50 will have the ability to list all of the white and blacklist entries on a single page.

Could you provide a little more information on the following:
>The new update makes it impossible to select all the domains at once
Are you referring to selecting with the mouse for copy and paste?
>search for a particular domain
Are you referring to using the browser to search the list of domains?
>Instead of managing blacklists through the cPHulk, i'm having to go to the server itself
What do you mean by "go to the server itself"?
Thank you.

My apologies for being vague. Thank you for reading.
1. Before the update, the blacklist section of cPHulk in the WHM was a simple text box where you could find, add, and select all IPs in that text box. Now you can't do that. There isn't a way to select all domains. Finding an IP now means going page by page. Before, if I wanted to start from scratch and delete all the IP's I could in a second or two. I don't know how to do that in the WHM through a browser now.
2. Yes sir. Using the WHM in a browser. Before you could use the browser to search. Now you can't. That's not as important to me. I liked being able to grab all the IP's at one time, quickly scrub them in the text editor, and then add them back.
3. I used to do my Blacklist management in WHM in a browser and a text editor. Now, I go to log files on the server to get all the IP's at once.

There should definitely be a "raw" option to view the blacklist as a list of IPs as before. Not being able to do so is a major inconvenience.

Hello,
Thank you for your feedback. I'm the Product Owner in charge of cPHulk. You can get a full list of the IP addresses in the white or black list by using the API call to return the results. http://documentation.cpanel.net/display/SDK/WHM+API+1+Functions+-+read_cphulk_records
We could add the view all ability down the line. But most people seem to like the current system.

Thank you for taking the time. Why did you guys REMOVE functionality of the WHM web interface, though? The identical interface was - thankfully - preserved for Remote Service IP section. I could login-find an IP or range of IPs quickly, and, if i wanted, copy and paste into a text editor and scrub away. Now, i can't do anything at all with the web interface. The API solution might be nice, but for what i need to do, that seems like an overly complicated way to do something the old web interface did just fine.
The previous version was so simple and easy to use. The new one looks prettier, for what that's worth, but the only thing you can really do with it is add IPs. Is there a way to roll back a portion of the WHM version to regain the functionality of the old cPHulk?
It's just this change made a "few seconds a day" job impossible unless i want to take the time to learn about and implement the API solution you mentioned. That seems crazy complicated to do something so simple. That's why i liked the simple text fields of the old cPHulk. Search for, copy, paste, import, export - it all just took seconds to do!
Thanks again I really appreciate you checking in on the end users.

1) Here is a use case to search the blacklist and remove specific IPs in the browser:
We have over 1000 blacklist entries and paging through the list to find a single IP address to remove after a staff member attempts to login with the wrong password is very inefficient.
Raw list editing in a textarea element was fine for this.
2) The new interface is much slower when following a blacklist link from an email notification (I do this several times a day) and the auto-closing popover disappears too quickly/
Currently I switch away from the browser after clicking the link and authenticating (no time to wait for the page to render) and by the time I get back to the page the popover has disappeared.
Please display a plain text message like previously: "xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx has been blacklisted" in the page body.
There is no way I'll be going the API route. It should not be necessary.
@cPanel staff : if it is not possible to revert or modify this please advise if I can disable cpHulk and run denyhosts without affecting WHM/cPanel.

A quick interim fix to display all IP addresses would be to include "Show All" in the "Page Size" dropdown to expose all blacklisted IPs. Users could then search locally in their browser ...

I agree, while we love the new one, the ability to search or to view all would be nice.

I would add that searching or viewing would be nice, but
so would the ability to select all quickly. The previous version allowed
you to do all three simply and easily. If someone wanted a more robust
export feature, that would be nice i suppose, but the text box worked
great for me (and is still a feature in the Remote IP section).
Thanks again for listening.

As a follow-up, i'm finding the new Hulk interface is much slower than the previous interface.
