As a system administrator and cPanel server user I would like to see cPanel update its ioncube loader support to include support for the beta version that supports PHP7.

Yep. cPanel needs to test IonCube 6 with PHP 7.

It would be great if the loaders work with EA4, in order to avoid custom installs.

We want to upgrade WHMCS to v7 but need latest ionCube supported first in EA4 with PHP 7

We've upgraded WHMCS to v7 but having to use PHP 5.6. WHMCS does support PHP 7 but PHP 7 needs Ioncube 6 which I'd prefer to be included officially rather than us using a workaround. Look forward to being able to use PHP 7 for faster performance etc. Works great on PHP 7 works great with CloudLinux as CloudLinux support latest Ioncube, etc. But CloudLinux is not needed for one server with just one website e.g WHMCS.

Howdy,

While my update yesterday said 'a couple of weeks', we've actually gotten this done and cleared by our QA yesterday, so we will be releasing ioncube6 packages today during our EA4 maintenance release. Watch the forums for when we push it out.
