Hi

I'm a new Oracle Linux user and would like to use Cpanel over it. I founded some people asking for this also. Is there any movement from you guys to get this done? Is there anything that I could do to help you guys with?

Thanks in advance,

Vinicius Oliveira

What are the advantages of Oracle linux over Cloudlinux or centos ? Do you us it because of their support ?

The only feature I've noticed is their built in ksplice, but there's kernel care for that now...

The main advantage currently are the Oracle Unbreakable Kernel (is basically a 4.1 Kernel with some security patches) with a KSplice support embed on it.

But the main reason to cPanel support it is that it's is basically equals to any RHEL, just the kernel differs and there's no reason to not support it.

Now that centos is being killed....this is suddenly a fairly important thing to support.

With the death of CentOS8 announced this week please begin support for this OS asap.
