Option to preserve contents of a git repo

As a cPanel User, I would like to have an option to preserve the repository's files on the delete confirmation dialog. This option would delete just the git repo itself (.git) & remove the repo from the Git Version Control module repository list.

I think it will be safer for end users to have an option like this, instead of asking them to make a backup (copy or move the files to another location).
