Let's Encrypt: SSL for IPv6 Only domains [case CPANEL-25209]
Completed
Please could you allow for Auto SSL with Let's Encrypt work on IPv6 only domains?
Let's Encrypt supports IPv6 only and we have some domains on our cPanel servers which only have an IPv6 record and would like to have them secured with SSL.
AutoSSL gives following error
“ipv6.domain.com” does not resolve to any IPv4 addresses on the internet. While that is true, it does resolve to a valid IP address on the internet and is reachable by Let's Encrypt.
As of 76.0.20 (which just entered the STABLE tier, this is resolved for both Let's Encrypt and Comodo. If you're still having problems, don't hesitate to reach out to our support team: https://tickets.cpanel.net
