I forgive my translation, I use google translator

There should be some simple way to add plugins to roundcube:

It's currently possible to install plugins for roundcube (which you can read about here: https://documentation.cpanel.net/display/CKB/How+to+Customize+Roundcube+Webmail ), but there is not a simpler way. I can definitely see the desire for simpler management of roundcube plugin management, though. Good idea!

Yes, we already saw, but that's not easy. The vast majority do not know and we need plugins.

I second this request. At least, I need the one which auto add contacts to address book as mails are sent.

It must be a simpler way. Maybe if cPanel could offer a way in the same fashion as PECL/PEAR modules are installed...

Any ideas?

I need to install the Archive plugin, and the thought of having to build my own RPMs for it is leaving me cold.

I think this feature would be great. Or at least allow us to edit the config file and upload plugins manually.

It would be great, round cube has many nice extensions, but it's really hard to add then...

Any updates on this or any updated documentation for installing plugins on roundcube?

This is still a necessity, but they don't listen to us. :D

Important:

  • The value that RCUBE_VERSION represents in these locations must match the RCUBE_VERSION variable that the /usr/local/cpanel/bin/update-roundcube script defines. For example, if the RCUBE_VERSION parameter is version 0.4 in the /usr/local/cpanel/bin/update-roundcube script, you must save your custom tarball as the roundcube-0.4-local.tar.gz filename.
  • These tarballs must extract to the /usr/local/cpanel/base/3rdparty/roundcube/ directory.
