Google Apps Gmail Integration
I did pretty well keeping up with spam in years past, but it's becoming increasingly difficult and resource-consuming to try and keep up with gmail's spam-kill rates.
Would anyone else like to see an integration option?
Could there be a one-click "switch to gmail/google apps" that a cpanel user could click to chageover their dns (or make this an easy copy and paste)?
Then if this is chosen and done, have the email section within cpanel become a link to the google apps control panel if they've switched? (and maybe a small subtle option to switch back if they wanted).

This sounds really cool! I've used a plugin to do this, but it didn't work very well.
Anyway, Google discontinued the free tier, but I guess many people still keep their free tier and even if it's payed, it'd be great to be able to manage it in cPanel as your say!

This is what i am looking for.
I have a google aps account and i have problems everytime i switch server to change mx servers etc.

Since Google does NOT respect anyones privacy, I would hate anything from Google integrated in cPanel.

Hello Thank you for sharing the thread. But I have one thing to ask...
Once I changeover to google aapps for my emails, its very smooth and all my emails hit the inboxes..But in such circumstances, I am unable to send any automated email from the cpanel for the ecommerce transaction. all the payment invoice has to be sent manually...So do you have any solution where I can integrate Google mail server in my cpanel,,so that any email sent through cpanel is routed through Gmail server.

This is great. I can do it via my hosting provider via one click, but not for my clients that I host. Would be a great feature!

One of those plugins/addons the hosting providers use that everyone uses and thinks it's part of cpanel... Later on only realizing it was a plugin/addon and it's not haha.

In my opinion, this would be best as a simple option which configures DNS for G Suite - that's the part customers sometimes have trouble with. The same could be available for other common DNS configurations such as Office 365. The interface can show the DNS entries which will be removed (i.e. those being overwritten) and the DNS entries which are being added before the user commits the changes.

The same here, it seems that Google strategy is working pretty well...all our customers are switching to GSuite.
We would also like to have GSuite integration so that customers can control their email accounts from cPanel.

We would also like to have GSuite integration so that customers can control their email accounts from cPanel.
It is very important not to forget to create the Google SPF record. I believe that the current functionality of "Email deliverability" should analyze the MXs and if they are configured the Gsuite MXs should automatically include the Google SPF.
