I would like to be able to disable webdisk, and the auto-generated cpanel related sub-domains.
Eg. whm.<domain>.extension, cpanel.<domain>.extension.
As a systems administrator, I would like an option to prevent cPanel from automatically adding autodiscover and autoconfig DNS records to domains when cPanel is updated, so that my DNS records aren’t auto-populated with records I have chosen to remove.
------------------------------------------------------------------
As a system administrator we see that a cPanel update will automatically add DNS zones to all customer on a server and add these records if they are missing:
webdisk.domain.tld
_autodiscover._tcp.x
_caldav._tcp.x
_caldavs._tcp.x
_carddav._tcp.x
_carddavs._tcp.x
_caldav._tcp.x
_caldavs._tcp.x
_carddav._tcp.x
_carddavs._tcp.x
cpcontacts.x
webmail.x
autoconfig.x
cpcalendars.x
whm.x
cpanel.x
Many customers would like to keep their DNS zone as it is and if they remove these records they should not get automatically added on each cPanel update.
cPanel should not touch any DNS zone as long as the user/sysadmin does not do the changes manually.

It would be great to have a manual ability (button) to add them all to an account after it's moved or if a customer changes their mind - or even a bulk apply after enabling the feature, but don't add these to accounts that have chosen to remove them on an update.

Remove functionality on auto-update, HOWEVER, add a separate functionality that allows a system admin to "push" the service records onto a selected number of domains/user accounts.
This would allow records to be properly maintained for customers that want/need the latest correct service records while not automatically repopulating the records on domains where the records may have been deliberately removed.
