Fetch mail from external mail-accounts via POP
As a cPanel User, I would like to see Kolab as a webmail alternative so that I have my address book groups (carddav categories) in sync as provided on my mac. Horde is using cPanel carddav, which lacks a proper implementation of address book groups. Kolab has SabreDAV-server deployed for CardDAv and CalDAV, which is a much better solution compared to cPanel CalDAV / CardDAV.

I'd like to see a feature to automatically fetch new messages from external mail-accounts such as gmail, outlook, icloud and any other mailprovider, that can be accessed via POP.
Any mail-user should be able to fetch messages from all his other mail-accounts into the inbox of his cpanel-account.
They should be able to leave newly fetched messages read or unread in the original inbox, or even delete them inside the external inbox after having fetched them successfully into their cpanel-mailaccount.
This could be deployed into each mail-account settings and accessable from the same menu where Spam-Filters and other features can be configured. Should not be deployed into Roundcube or Horde settings directly.
Other mail-providers offer this feature already, e.g. you can import or "fetch" messages from external accounts into your gmail-account.
I hope that many other cPanel-customers find this usefull, please support this idea!
Have a lovely day,
Sascha

I would like to see this feature as well. It helps a LOT when transferring accounts from other providers who don't use cPanel, or where the clients use external email like gmail / yahoo / etc.
