FCGI Timeout
Open Discussion
Default read timeout on FCGI mode is 40 seconds. It`s very small. If I add options in configuration files /usr/local/cpanel/bin/rebuild_phpconf clean on every rebuild config.
Please add options
IPCConnectTimeout
IPCCommTimeout
to Home > Service Configuration > Apache Configuration > Global Configuration .

This is a reasonable feature request. I, too, would like to see some of these options exposed in a more deliberate way through WHM.
However, there is a workaround until such a feature is put in place.
If you add your customizations through "Home > Service Configuration > Apache Configuration > Include Editor" and into the "Pre Virtual Host" include, then this will satisfy your needs.
Within httpd.conf, the pre virtual host include is just "below" php.conf in order and will allow you to set the behaviors you want without fear of rebuild_phpconf erasing those changes from the pre virtual host include.
As you can imagine, this is not ideal, which is why your feature request is still valid. But, I wanted to provide this workaround for you in the interim.

In addition to this, I would also like fcgi implementation to be easier, and not just a note that it is for 'advanced users' message, as stated in the documentation. cPanel could help on figuring out an easier manner to use those features.
Thanks,
