Encrypted Mysql connection needed
Open Discussion
As a server administrator I would like cPanel to provide support for encrypted MySQL connections between servers to add security to my server and the remote MySQL connections that my users make.
It would certainly be nice to see cPanel be able to manage SSL connections to MySQL and for users to be able to configure their certs and set users as SSL only etc.

Would be great to have this. Is there any chance of this being supported in the near future? I know there are manual ways of configuring this, but I would rather keep my cPanel instance as vanilla as possible to make migrations easier.

That's why I should leave the port 3306 blocked into my firewall and refuse to let remote MySQL with the database. Is there another way through a SSH tunnel maybe ?
