Display inode usage in cPanel and WHM

It would be great if this feature can be added in cPanel. Also, there should be a report page in WHM where we can see the inode usage of all accounts.

Yes, a option to limit inodes is needed.

Definitely a must

+1 for this

This one is marked as released. I don't see Inodes in user cPanels?

Now we can see the inodes usage, great!

But how do you limit how much assign by account or package?

Where is it? i did not find any thing related to this in cpanel nither in WHM

WHM -> Tweak Settings -> "Display File Usage information in the cPanel stats bar (inode count)"

This defaults to "off", and you can turn it "on".

Not working with paper_lantern theme.

Still doesn't appear to be working in Paper Lantern.... anyone?

Yes, I can confirm it's not working on Paper Lantern.

The fix for the display of inode usage in Paper Lantern should be available in 11.50. What version are you looking at when you mention that it's not currently working in Paper Lantern?

photo

Please make sure you've enabled this 'File Usage' ability inside WHM -> Tweak Settings as well!

The version I'm seeing is 11.50.0.30.

What is the 11.50 release in which I should start seeing it fixed? Do you have any issue number to look for in the changelog?

I'm currently running 11.50.0 (build 30) with the option enabled in Tweak (just disabled, applied, re-enabled it just in case) and I don't have this option in the sidebar of Paper Lantern, anyway. Am I missing something?

Paper Lantern still does not display File Usage (inodes) stat in cPanel 54

AFAIK the new cPanel theme at 11.54 has no way of showing inode / file count, even if "Display File Usage information in the cPanel stats bar (inode count)" is enabled.

So, is this a bug or intended behaviour? :) Staff people, your turn.

Indeed, this worked but stopped working at cPanel 54.

Fix is on the way. The internal case number for this problem is CPANEL-4081

Any news on this fix?

Any news on this fix? We just had a few servers go down due to maxing out the inodes. Would be nice to be able to see this in cPanel. Thanks :)

Yes, I can confirm it works and the info is shown under Statistics page on Paper Lantern. Nice. But... is there any way to limit the inode consumption by account? or is this a feature available only on CloudLinux?

Kent: that feature requires either Cloud Linux, or implementing your own system. The Linux quota system provides a way to set the inode limit, which is what this reports. You could likely put something together using package extensions (https://documentation.cpanel.net/display/SDK/Guide+to+Package+Extensions)
