Disk Inode Monitoring

As a system administrator I'd like cPanel to update tailwatchd/chkservd so that it also monitors for inode usage. This will allow for similar alerts to be sent out that currently get sent when disk space usage is getting used up.

This feature is part of version 64 which is already in the CURRENT tier, and will be headed to RELEASE this week. In the release notes we see it mentioned here:

Even better would be to have some kind of statistic somewhere in WHM or be able to get via a API call so we can setup automatic alert to customers and get them to upgrade their hosting accounts.

We are planning on adding inode (file) usage to the quotacheck notifications in v66 (or v64 if the work is completed in time). This is being tracked under case CPANEL-11475.
In case CPANEL-6153 (v58) added inode (file) usage to the chkservd system. There were some deficiencies in the caching layer which have been resolved in CPANEL-11475 and should be published in an upcoming build.
