I saw that there was supposedly an iOS app released. https://features.cpanel.net/topic/official-app-to-manage-cpanel-whm-via-iphone-or-ipad-or-ipod-touch
I would like to request an official android app for managing WHM.
The ability to store 'saved' servers to allow a one touch login, perhaps secured by fingerprint scanning? (I have an HTC 10 with a fingerprint scanner, apps like banking ones can utilise this) or just a pin code for those without phones / tablets with such additional security hardware.
The option to sign into WHM or just cPanel (for users / customers)
It should allow root access and allow users / server admins etc. to change settings, view service statuses, reboot server, modify accounts, use a file managers / browser etc.
It should also be able to create notifications on the device for any type of alert, such as services down, or any other whm alert that can be set / configured in the main WHM web interface.
I have been searching for an android app but many of them do not seem safe, and those that do seem safe have very limited features
This app is now live in the google play store, and you can find it here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cpanel.android&hl=en
Currently it just provides you an easy way to log in to your servers without having to use a password manager, or save passwords in your browser, but we use it heavily internally already. If you have questions, feel free to let me know!

This would be ideal!

I think the implementation should also include FTP and WebDAV account management.
Example use case: This will allow a person to create a WebDAV account and immediately use the separate Android application for cPanel Web Disk (from Google Play) while connected only from a mobile device and also without involving a browser.
Personally, and ideally, I would like the native Android application(s) to ultimately encompass as much of the cPanel&WHM experience as possible.

I don't believe cPanel didn't develop it yet ;-)
It is a MUST! Highly appreciated, indeed...
What do you think cPanel?
When can we get it so we can manage stuff from out mobiles?
Please, do listen to this. Do listen!
Thanks,

I believe there should be separate applications for WHM & cPanel. the cPanel application should contain just a login form for cPanel users (perhaps some autoconfig based on their domain?).
All cPanel features should be accessible from the application. I know there's third-party apps that do this but those are usually very expensive.
Perhaps some branding could be done, that the paper lantern style from the account is applied (to some limitations, of course) to the application.
The WHM app could be slightly less branded (If branding is a terrible pain to implement) but should be very functional. I would require at least the following functionality:
Obviously, iOS users would also like this
Can't wait for this to be a thing :D

There are many apps present on Play Store already. You can use this free app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.cpanel.remote&hl=en

Unfortunately it's a limited app and looks like it's not been updated for about a year. The absence of account and user filtering makes it pretty useless for me. Haven't found a decent one to date.

Good news! We are actively developing an android app for managing cPanel, WHM, and webmail accounts. We hope to see it arrive within the next month of so.

That's great news. Our team is looking forward to this for sure.

One suggestion might be to look at what vBulletin does with their mobile app, where you allow clients to create "personalized versions" of the applications if they wish. So there can be a Company A Control App in the store with name and logo, but the core is the cPanel app.

This is amazing news !
Benny, could you confirm if it will support real time notifications, i.e. if server runs out of RAM, or if services fail etc will there be a realtime android notification triggered??
And then further to that will it be a proper management app that will allow service restarts, config changes, checking firewall logs via csf and things like this? Or is it going to be a bit more simplified?
Or perhaps is there a feature list you could post for us to see what it will include?

I'm really pleased to hear this is going to happen. Nice one!
