Control access to services via Package
As a shared hosting provider, I would like to be able to create packages that restrict access to one or more services.
For instance, I may wish to have a package for newbies that does not allow ftp or webdav access (I instruct them to upload through the file manager), but another package for more advanced users that does allow ftp and webdav access. Currently, there is no supported way to implement such a scheme (there are unsupported customizations, but it would be nice if it were supported).
There is a similar feature request specifically for turning off email per account (or even per email address for temporary issues), but this is more broadly worded so that it can apply to any service on the server that requires user authentication.
Even if this was done through feature lists it would work for me. I have to manually add usernames to /etc/ftpusers every time a "mail only" account is setup.
