Bulk transfer accounts as reseller

As a Webhosting provider I would like to see cPanel improve the transfer process for reseller accounts, making migrating as a reseller a painless process. This comes in a variety of user stories and use-cases, for example:

As a root user I would like to be able to use the transfer tool to migrate a reseller account and all of its associated accounts from one server to another.
As a reseller I would like to be able to use the transfer tool to migrate all of the accounts owned by a reseller account on a remote server. for which I have the username and password.
As a reseller I would like to be able to use the transfer tool to migrate an account from another server using the account's username and password.

Add the ability to tranfer accounts in to a reseller account, keeping the reseller dedicated IP settings and nameservers in mind

It is impossible for resellers to use the transfer functionality. Account transfers is simply not available within a reseller's WHM.

So, you have to do it with root. (If you have it!)

However, root doesn't allow you to import accounts directly to a reseller account thusly it won't honor the dedicated IP nor nameservers associated with that reseller account. That means that:

1.) You need to manually modify nameservers in the DNS zones 2.) Need to manually point source -> new server as for DNS zones 3.) Need to manually re-assign IP's.

Needless to say that takes tons of time...

Bulk Transfer Reseller Account + Domains from Server to Server Using WHM User/PW

As a WHM user I would like the ability to transfer a reseller's account, as well as all accounts owned by that reseller, from a remote server using the reseller's account password.

Enable Transfer Tool to Reseller Accounts

Hello,

Some resellers request me to use the "Transfer Tool" feature to migrate one or more accounts from another servers.

While there are some plugins on the internet that don't work very well as this original feature, I feel more secure if my resellers could have access to this feature to migrate their accounts.

I would love if cPanel enable Transfer Tool to Reseller Accounts!

I would like to see the option to select the desired IP on the target server during this time as well.

We assign each reseller account their own IP for them and their resold accounts to isolate mail to help prevent blacklisting. The ability to move the reseller and all of their resold accounts to the reseller shared IP (unless the resold account already has a dedicated IP) with the transfer tool would make our lives SO much easier.

This would be very beneficial to retrieve entire reseller accounts using the transfer tool instead of transferring one account at a time using account passwords.

be easier to migrate resellers from provider to provider + reseller to VPS, i do not think it so hard to implent.

For those following this thread maybe this will help - https://whmbackup.solutions/ - open source backup script run as a cron under the reseller user to transfer full account backups to your destination server over FTP or SCP - not ideal but better than doing it manually and changing cPanel passwords and inconveniencing the end users IMO

I was hoping this feature is already implemented by now.

I just logged in a new reseller account and was looking for the Transfer Tool but it's not there.
