Btrfs support
Btrfs is a modern copy-on-write file system, present in the mainline linux kernel since 2009, present as an installation storage option on some of the widely used Linux distros, and even default on some of them.
Since cPanel only suffers from the inability to properly compile the Net-SSLeay Perl module on btrfs, it is only a step away from supporting this file system by design.

Are you asking for the perl rpm to not be blocked in yum so that you can install btrfs? If so you can do that now:
1. Remove perl* from /etc/yum.conf
2. yum reinstall perl.
You might also do yum update afterwards.

No, that's not the point.
The problem that we are facing is that we have CentOS VMs, but with a btrfs filesystem, not ext3. When we follow the standard cPanel install process, running the "latest" script, it mostly installs but the admin site doesn't work.
We debugged this, and the problem is that the "latest" script doesn't compile Net-SSLeay correctly on a btrfs filesystem.
The root cause of this is that the File::Find module in the cPanel version of Perl doesn't search correctly in the btrfs filesystem for dependencies.
This is probably simple to fix.

Unfortunately BTRFS does not support User quota meaning that in /etc/fstab we can't put something like usrjquota or usrquota.
