Site Preview in control panel before switch Nameservers. The other method with /~username is not at all secure and we have disabled it on all servers.

As a server administrator I would like cPanel to provide a better and easier way for my users to preview their live website in a way that does not require deep technical knowledge, or present security and usability flaws.
For example, one option (and my preference) would be to use a subdomain based on the customer domain name itself; i.e. customerdomain.hostnamel.com.

I am amazed this isn't requested more frequently!
We would love to see this added. WordPress specifically is a nightmare when previewed through the usual 1.1.1.1/~username method.
We built a small plugin for our clients, which basically created an add-on domain pointing to the root directory for a domain, then 'patched' some small changes to the wp-config.php
It's a little messy though, so would be great to see this implementation sometime in the near future.
