Enact security policies for specific users
Open Discussion
As a Server Administrator, I want to enact security policies for specific users, so that I can control the level of security for each user type.
1. Enable for root resellers
2. Enable for any resellers
3. Enable for users of a particular reseller
4. Combinations of the above.

What particular security policies are of interest for this ability?

Specifically for me, I'd like to see the ability to circumvent IP address validation for specific users, resellers and their clients.

I would like the ability to give all users control on whether or not to use security policies such as security questions, but be able to also enforce it on selected users.

Disabling the security questions on a per-account basis would be a great addition. Too bad this feature request doesn't get the attention it deserves... :(

We would like to offer this option to our users but we would need it to be opt-in.
The security questions, just like for the 2fa request, should be able to be enabled, disabled, enforcee or optional for all users.

As a server administrator I also would like the ability to enable/disable each of the current & future security policies on a per account basis. Eg Expire passwords on each cP account and each email account at different intervals or not at all. Some customers repeatedly require an inordinate amount of time and help changing password. Other customers have dozens perhaps hundreds of employees accessing e-mail from one or more IPs using both 3rd party email clients and webmail that may benefit from this option as well.
