Shell to default to disabled for new accounts

Completed

As a Server Administrator, I want shell to default to disabled for new accounts, so that I can limit risks for compromise.

Customers and Admins can use the undocumented defaultshell cpanel.config directive to set the default shell. This feature is asking that for a change in account and feature list defaults to have shell access be disabled (i.e. the Shell Access control is not checked).

Simply change Tweak Settings option

"Default shell jailed: yes|no"

to

"Default shell: Normal|Jail|None"

As Tony indicated here, this is definitely already an option at this point. Not sure exactly when this got solved, but I'm going to mark this one as completed.
