Amazon Glacier integrated into WHM as a backup option

As a hosting provider, I'd like to see Amazon Glacier integrated into WHM
as a backup option, so that I can backup my customer data to Amazon Glacier.
I think the subject line says it all.

Please confirm this, but I think you cannot backup files directly to Glacier, since that service relies on S3. In fact, you define a Lifecycle for your S3 folders using a rule that will tell how long to wait before delete the files or send them to Glacier.
It's more feasible to restore files from a Reduced Redundancy instance in S3 that doing ANYTHING directly to/from Glacier.

I'm not sure you can send files directly to Glacier, but one thing is sure: you'll have to wait until the restore process completes, and you will be charged by that. Not sure if Amazon API can allow remote restore from Glacier.

Also, I can recall another thingie about Glacier. They (Amazon) will charge the user some big bucks for deleting files from Glacier before 60 days have passed. This is what they call "Early Delete" and believe me son, you won't want to pay the extra bucks if you fail to set the correct lifecycle from WHM. So this must be warned from the WHM UI if you want to make it noob proof ;)

Glacier would be a great solution since, well, when do you need to retrieve a backup? Not very often. For a growing web host this can easily reduce costs

Note that vault allows rules to send to glacier but whm will delete from s3/glacier and you incur lot's of penalties. This needs to be addressed!
