Allow for smarthost configuration via WHM on a per domain basis in exim configuration.
To make single account sends emails using unique SMTP gateway.
That means the smarthost will be per account not for all the accounts.
I like this idea

Not just on a per mail account basis, but on a domain basis too.
We are implementing Barracuda Email Security Service for both inbound and outbound filtering. So, I need to be able to easily configure separate smarthost addresses for each sending domain via WHM on our server.
These configs need to stick so they don't get overwritten by an Exim update/upgrade by cPanel.
Not just on a per mail account basis, but on a domain basis too.
We are implementing Barracuda Email Security Service for both inbound and outbound filtering. So, I need to be able to easily configure separate smarthost addresses for each sending domain via WHM on our server.

Ideally as a plugin or extra config, not in exim advanced config (wherein should be only an option to switch the smarthost config interface on/off for the smarthost plugin). This way, it is much easier to preserve all the smarthost configs separately, and at the same time continue independent development of each, the exim config features, the interface features, and the smarthost plugin features - think modular to reduce complexity.
