Allow direct access to RoundCube, without port and cPanel WebMail login
Completed
I've installed ownCloud (oc.mydomain.com) and the RoundCube App (the plugin for ownClound), but it's impossible to configure because of how cPanel manages the webmail installations.
First, cPanel is running on a specific port for webmail, and RoundCube cannot be accessed without first logging into the cPanel WebMail panel. This is a crippling design.
Either allow direct access to RoundCube, and on any sub-domain, or allow other manual installations of RoundCube (ie, on a sub-domain: oc.mydomain.com/roundcube) to be configured using the cPanel RoundCube database.
The roundcube installation we provide is for hosting on the internal cpsrvd web server. By design it is not intended for general access, or via Apache. If you want to use Roundcube without the integration with cPanel & WHM you'll need to install your own version in an appropriate document root.
