Add a navigation button from File Manager back to cpanel

Did I miss something or is there no navigation back to cPanel from the File Manager? I always have to keep the cPanel open in another browser tab. I would like to see a "back" button that closes the File Manager tab, and takes me back to the cPanel interface.

Also would like to drag and drop to upload direct from a browser download history (CTRL+J in Chrome) , drag/drop the file direct to a folder instead if using the upload button 1st, and then having to do the same thing by drag dropping onto "select files" button. I do this a lot and would save a lot of time to drag straight into the File Manager folder window to upload.

I agree, why is there no back button to main cpanel?

Actually, there is a way. Just click in the cPanel logo at the upper left corner and you'll be back on the panel. Voila. :-)

I don't think all cPanels have those - mine doesn't...these cPanels are on my own server though so maybe your host has a different template as I have a choice of several with completely different layouts. None with a home button :(

Thanks for your info though. What version/template/host of cPanel do you have?

I'm using the last STABLE version of cPanel in our own hosts, with Paper Lantern template, which is the official and definitely fully working one to use today.

I simply click on the CP link in the upper left corner of my file manager and I'm back to the control panel screen. Don't know why yours don't work like that.

Best regards
