Ability to access customers full mailboxes is needed
Open Discussion
There needs to be the ability for root/admin log in to access a customer's mail boxes to clean off spam
This is a feature that has long been available in windows smartermail (impersonate user) and it is needed in WHM/cPanel
There is already the capability for the cPanel User to login to email accounts using the cPanel account password.
Are you looking for a way for root to login to anyone's email, regardless of ownership?

Yes, the ability for system owner/administrator to log into any email account to empty the spam folder.
I have some customer accounts that are approaching 1 gig of spam that needs to be dealt with. Contacting each customer with this issue is time consuming.
The ability to manipulate any customer's email account/addresses to get a handle on storage is a MUST HAVE feature.
I understand that there is a plug-in/add-on which I will investigate but having this native to the control panel would improve the daily nuts-N-bolts tasks of a hosting opperation

I use the free plug-in from ConfigServer to access mailboxes to help clean out trash, spam, etc. as needed. Works great: http://configserver.com/cp/cmm.html
Kenneth, can you explain how the cPanel user can log into mailboxes? I did not know that and not sure how that works.

Yes! Root/reseller should have such feature! Sometimes clients call us regarding problems in their webmail(email does not open or is displayed incorrectly, messages about errors and etc. ). It will be much faster and easier to log in to user account and see what's wrong rather than having a long conversation and asking for more details.
