As a System Administrator, I would like a Dark Mode for the WHM Theme (similar to how paper_lantern has a Dark Mode for the cPanel UI), so that the site is usable with less eye strain.

I am astounded this is still lacking.
Moreover, I have only just discovered that a dark paper lantern cPanel theme existed! I never knew about this, but now it's being removed!
I also raised a ticket with support about a lack of dark mode in Jupiter. My comments were along the lines of:
"Not in a million years, whilst you are constantly increasing prices above inflation rates, would you impose a theme that goes back to what you currently have"
...the response is to raise a feature request.
It really does baffle me. I followed this response up for more details, where I was given a slightly better response with a little more detail...

<code>Fixed case CPANEL-36969: Remove all references to the Light and Dark styles in Jupiter.</code>It turns out, Jupiter did initially have a dark-mode. The support advisor tells me that their analytics showed it was barely used. Two points here:
1) I doubt they are capturing very accurate analytics, as I imagine tracking gets blocks for a lot of users
2) Most people probably never knew it existed! I certainly did not, so this is going to be whyi t's unused. The theme should adapt to the OS' theme by simply utilising the CSS media query:
@media (prefers-color-scheme: dark) {}

I currently use 'Dark Mode' Chrome addon while working during nights however it looks ugly but good to prevent eye strain however an actually official cPanel dark mode would be great.

While cPanel reacts to this, I recommend the extension: darkreader.org (chrome, firefox, safari, etc)
I use it for WHM & cPanel and it works great. (I also use it for nearly all other websites).
The downside is that the web SSH terminal isn't compatible, so I have to disable the plugin (one click) to use it. Also, it might slow your computer a little.

Before Jupiter, in paper_lantern, there were 4 styles. Dark, light, retro, basic. Was nice when there were 2 available themes as well because I've had issues where one theme would show something and the other did not pointing to a theme issue. I am having an issue currently with mailman lists not showing up and not being able to change the style to possibly ferret out a theme issue is a drag. I wasn't aware of the lack of multiple styles and longer and am saddened by that.
