DKIM entry longer than 256. How

I know that there have other discussions about this but they seem to back to 2014'ish.

I need to set up a DNS Zone record for DKIM which needs a TXT field entry. It seems that my text string is longer than permitted and if i copy the text string and past it into the Zone editor only half gets entered. Tried adding the missing text under a new text string box but this does not work. How can I enter the text as one continuous long string?
