Needs Review

I want make a connection source IP address a dedicated IP address for the cPanel account,

not WHM shared IP address, when a PHP program on the cPanel account website communicate with an external server. For example, some servers have access restrictions by the source IP address. Once I permit a WHM shared IP address on such external server, all cPanel accounts on the WHM can access the external server.

As web-hosting provider, I would like get a new feature to resolve the above issue, so that we can increase server security.

Hey there! Can you get me more details on this request? I'm not entirely sure I understand what you are trying to achieve, so any more details you have would be helpful.

Hi cPrex,

For example, suppose there are the following WHM, cPanel account on the WHM and a database server on other machine.

210.236.xxx.1 WHM

210.236.xxx.88 cPanel account A

210.236.xxx.89 cPanel account B

212.130.xxx.20 external database server

When I access https://210.236.xxx.88/dbconnect.php which fetch records from the external database server 212.130.xxx.20, source IP address detected by the external database server is "210.236.xxx.1", not "210.236.xxx.88".

I want to make the source IP address as "210.236.xxx.88".

Regards,

Taro
