Show DNSSEC public key in cPanel

Monarobase shared this idea 4 years ago
Already Exists

As a web hosting provider I would like cPanel end users to be able to view DNSSEC public keys from their cPanel DNSSEC page as there are numerous domain providers that require the public key and not the digest thus making the cPanel DNSSEC feature not usable for people who don’t know how to retrieve the public key.

Hello,

There already exists a way for cPanel users to get their public key. Under cPanel > Zone Editor, the user can click a button for DNSSEC for the domain. This takes them to the DNSSEC interface. If the user has generated a key pair, then they are able to view the public key by clicking on the expander ">" on the left side of the record row they need to view more options. One of those options is "Public DNS Key."

Please let us know if this is not sufficient for your needs. We've designed this interface based on what we expected to be most needed information, which is why the Public DNS key was in the collapsed interface and not in the main menu (next to digest for example).
