System Backup Files do not respect KEEPLOCAL: 0 in /var/cpanel/backups/config

After following this guide, system backups are now pushed to remote destinations.

However, they do not respect the KEEPLOCAL: 0 option, even though account backups do.

Please create a method for the system backups to remove local files after they have transferred to the additional locations.
