Store mail data in MySQL database

Currently cPanel sets a flat file for each email stored, when customers have large amounts of email storage this causes a huge amounts of flat files which creates issues with inode usage and backing up.

I would like to see an option to have email stored in a MYSQL database which would make backups easier and no flat files.

It looks like dbmail offers this capability.

Would love to see this as an option :)

This should be pulled out of archive, I would love to see something like this happen. I think dbmail integration out of the box would be a great move forward. It's more and more common place that customers allow e-mail to pile up to 10's of GBs , the io stress this puts on the system during back-up is enormous.
