Option to delete stats files that are years old. (i have stats from the year 2002 and on, taking lots of space)

I'l like the option to delete the stats files in the $HOME/$USER/tmp folder that are over a year old. I have a bunch of sites that have stats going all the way back to the year 2002 taking lots of space.
