Need the Ability to Create Reseller "Packages"

Would like the ability to create reseller "packages" just as we can create account packages. This would mean we could create a default reseller package with just the permissions we want resellers to have and then assign that package to any account we want to turn into a reseller account.

This would save a tremendous amount of time from the way we have to manually do this each time we setup a reseller now. The current method also creates the possibility of making a mistake in setting up a reseller that we might accidentally give one too many permissions to.

It would also be great to have this so client management systems like WHMCS could integrate into it and we could allow customers to order a reseller account from our order page and automatically be set up by the client management system.

Unless I'm misunderstanding something, this is already possible. You can create a reseller ACL with each of the permissions that your resellers should have and then use the ACL rather than clicking each checkbox (Go to "Edit Reseller Nameservers and Privileges", at the bottom of the page there is a "Save this list as:" field).

WHMCS also integrates into this already and has a field for "Reseller ACL List" when configuring the product/service "Module Settings" within WHMCS.

You know - you're right! I actually discovered the ACL list thing the other day. And discovered the WHMCS integration today! So thank you for that - in case anybody else is looking for the same thing.

I agree, the current process for managing reseller ACL's is tedious. This would be much better managed as packages which can be updated once and applied to all resellers using that package.
