Module installer auto-repair and integrity check

If you're new to using a VPS and cPanel, you'd discover very early on that its quite easy to break cPanel features in SSH. I'd like cPanel to include a scripted auto-repair and integrity checking feature. This type of feature would most definitely help the new user perform repairs to cPanel itself, with ease, if they've perhaps become non-functional and fail to work as a result of an awry command in the terminal.

It'd be great if a feature like this could implement symlink checking, compiler checks, and other complicated back-end things even an advanced user would spend much time fixing if such features where ever broken on accident. It would aide in alleviating a long reconfiguration session like the one I'd had when I'd accidentally ruined a portion of the Pear module installer - An oopsy-daisy requiring a lot of manual repair and calls with my web-host support. (Whoops!)

A lack of self-repairing features is quite the deterrent for someone starting fresh with cPanel and VPS dedicated hosting, should such "whoops!" moments ever happen, and quite the headache for an advanced user to repair manually.
