As a System Administrator, I would like to have the ability to edit the cPanel php.ini files so that my settings for Webmail, cPanel and phpMyAdmin will persist and not be automatically overwritten when an update is installed.

As a systems administrator, I would like to have the ability to edit the cPanel php.ini files for settings such as default_socket_timeout without my settings being overwritten. This should allow editing these settings for Webmail, the cPanel service, and phpMyAdmin.

Currently, it is understood that cPanel's php.ini files can and will be overwritten upon updates.

It would be nice to have an interface in the WHM for this, but I want to at least just be able to make the changes in a file such as a php.ini.local file to ensure my settings remain applied.
