Implement amazon route 53 style Alias dns record

He wants a domain level CNAME type record that can co-exist with other records.


Various third parties have implemented this and they're calling it an Alias record. The customer would like to point the main domain to load balancer with amazon, which is why he's requesting this functionality.


The customer has been informed that this is not currently supported or implemented by any of the dns servers cPanel currently works with, and that there is not an RFC stage proposal. However, he requested a feature request be submitted on his behalf.
