cpHulk auto whitelist an IP based on DYNDNS type service
Open Discussion
When busy doing various work on the server I've on occasion been blocked by cpHulk. The problem is more likely to appear if an ftp client on my machine is also connected to the server. Other products such as CFS offer an auto-whitelist option via dyndns. I realize cpHulk can be adjusted to be less sensitive but who wants that in this modern age of constant attack.
cPanel sends mails whenever there is a root login.
This does not makes sense (to me at least) to send me mails when I, myself make the login.
I
end receiving too many mails that means nothing and if someday I really
have an intruder, I will not notice that among all those self created
"spam".
Of course, I do not always connect from the same IP, and many cases I connect from home address that is a dynamic IP.
I
believe that allowing fully qualified names on the cPHulk white list
would do the trick, but currently it only accepts IP numbers and not
names.
I wish there were a way to make cPanel
stopping send me those annoying mails based on my fully qualified
computer name instead of the IP number.

yeah it's true, i agree,
but it's cannot implemented if we use dynamic ip,
so must be use cookie like facebook, list of unique device used to login keep by cookie until cookie clear
