Certificate listed on Apache’s Installed SSL Resources should reflect on User Account SSL Resources
Opened on behalf of a customer. Was opened originally as internal report 100513.
When generating a CSR and self signed certificate, when installing a signed certificate, the certificate that is listed under the WHM Manager >> SSL/TLS >> SSL Storage Manager under "Apache’s Installed SSL Resources" and "User Account SSL Resources" is the same certificate.
When getting a signed certificate from a SSL authority, installing that certificate in WHM the SSL certificate listed under "Apache’s Installed SSL Resources" and "User Account SSL Resources" is different. The one under "Apache's Installed SSL Resources" is the signed certificate from the SSL authority that was installed and the "User Account SSL Resources" is the self signed certificate that was generated when the CSR was created (see ss1.jpg and ss2.jpg). It should be changed so the SSL certificate listed under User Account SSL Resources be the same as the one under Apache's Installed SSL Resources, both listing the signed certificate.
Steps to reproduce:
1) Generate a CSR under WHM Manager >> SSL/TLS >> Generate an SSL Certificate and Signing Request.
2) Go under the WHM Manager >> SSL/TLS >> SSL Storage Manager and notice the "User Account SSL Resources" and "Apache's Installed SSL Resources" have the same certificate (self signed).
3) Install a signed certificate in the WHM Manager >> SSL/TLS >> Install an SSL Certificate on a Domain.
4) In the WHM Manager >> SSL/TLS >> SSL Storage Manager >> the "Apache’s Installed SSL Resources" and "User Account SSL Resources" is different. It should be the same.
